Italy Clinch Last 16 Spot With Extra-Time Win

Italy booked their spot in the quarter-finals of EURO 202 after edging Austria 2-1 in extra-time on Saturday evening.

Denmark became the first side to be eligible for the EURO 2020 quarter-finals with a 4-0 win over Wales on Saturday evening.
Wales recalled Ben Davies, Mepham and Kiefer Moore from the 1-0 loss to Italy, while Kasper Dolberg replaced the injured Yussuf Poulsen for the Danes.
The overall game was played at a lively pace in the first stages of the encounter, although clear-cut chances were tricky to find in the opening 20 minutes.
Dolberg was wanting to repay the faith and he broke the deadlock on 27 minutes after cutting inside before curling the ball in to the far corner from distance.
