Kim Kardashian 'files to divorce Kanye West'

Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West, according to studies in the US media.

The couple have already been married for almost seven years and have four children together.

The news headlines was broken by celebrity news website TMZ after a few months of rumors of marital difficulties.

Reports in US media advise the truth star, 40, has requested joint legal and physical custody of their kids. Neither has publicly commented.

The couple are being among the most recognizable stars on the planet and are both hugely successful within their own right.

Kim first found fame in 2007 as the celebrity of an E! Tv set reality series about her family. Maintaining the Kardashians provides remained hugely popular since, using its 21st and final series because of air next year.

The truth star has found success in lots of other areas of business, from cellular programs to make-up, and Forbes estimates her personal wealth to be about $780m (£556m).

Known for huge worldwide hits just like Gold Digger, Kanye West provides been one of the primary names on rap music for over 15 years. The Grammy-winning musician in addition has found victory as a fashion designer.

The pair were friends for a long time before they met up and West first appeared on her behalf family's reality show this year 2010.

Their first daughter, North, found its way to June 2013.

She said her husband had bipolar disorder, was a "brilliant but complicated person" and called for greater empathy surrounding his mental health from the public and the media.

Rumors of their divorce have already been around for a few months amid speculation Kardashian had hired well-known attorney Laura Wasser.

Page 6 reported the filing was first imminent in January, claiming West spent the yuletide season away from the California-based family in his Wyoming ranch.
