LaLiga President Sends Message To Messi
The president of LaLiga, who helped FC Barcelona prevent Lionel Messi from leaving the club this past year, has sent the Argentine a message over his future.

Messi went close to leaving the Catalans in the beginning of the season, but his work were halted by the then-Blaugrana board and the league itself, who released a good statement stating that he was under obligation to stay in the club for just one more campaign.

Now, the 33-year-old has just a few months remaining in his contract in Spain, with it even now being unclear concerning whether he'll extend his current package or move on prior to the 2021/22 season.

Javier Tebas, LaLiga's president, has insisted he'd advise the six-period Ballon d'Or winner to stay where he is.

"If I were Messi's adviser, I would tell him, 'stay at Barca'," he told AS.

"I want Messi to remain. He is the very best player in history.

"If you are thinking about his previous years of football, he should continue being from the Barcelona brand.

"He started at Barcelona and I think he should continue at Barca. If I was his adviser, I would simply tell him he must do everything possible to remain at Barca."

Messi has been strongly associated with transfers to Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain in recent months, although Joan Laporta's go back while Barca president has led many to trust he could now find out the others of his career in the Camp Nou.
