Lingard Breaks Silence On Man Utd Future
Manchester United attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard has broken his silence on his future with the Red Devils before next season.

The 28-year-old spent the next half of last season on loan at West Ham United, notching up an impressive nine goals and five assists in 16 Premier League appearances for the London club.

With Hammers manager David Moyes reported to be keen to have Lingard back for another campaign, the player himself has now insisted that regular game time will play a big part in his decision for next season.

"Regular football is the most important thing for me personally," he told Sky Sports.

"After going on loan and getting a good run in the team, you began to start to see the real me, with the goals and the assists.

"I've never doubted my ability, I've always believed in myself. I spoke to the manager (United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer) in pre-season and said, 'I need game time'. He said, 'we can discuss it December time', and we spoke again and he agreed to let me continue loan.

"I had various conversations with him within my time at West Ham. He was very supportive and it had been a great loan for me personally."
