Manchester United 4-0 Norwich City
Manchester United returned to winning ways after thrashing Norwich City 4-0 in the Premier League at home on Saturday.
A brace from Marcus Rashford followed by goals from Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood gave the Red Devils a comfortable victory over the Canaries.
The result leaves United in fifth place on the standings five points from fourth spot, with the visitors rock bottom.
Leicester City 1-2 Southampton
Leicester City lost further ground on league leaders Liverpool following a 2-1 loss against Southampton, who avenged the 9-0 hammering in the reverse fixture this season.
Dennis Praet put the Foxes ahead on 14 minutes, but Stuart Armstrong levelled five minutes later before Danny Ings grabbed the winner in the last nine minutes.
Everton 1-0 Brighton Hove and Albion
Everton remain in the bottom-half despite securing a third successive home win with a 1-0 triumph over Brighton Hove and Albion at Goodison Park.
The Toffees netted the winner late in the first half through Brazilian Richarlison to leave his side 11th on the table with Brighton in 14th spot.
Chelsea 3-0 Burnley
Chelsea also returned to winning ways to maintain fourth spot following a 3-0 victory over Burnley at Stamford Bridge.
A penalty from Jorginho after 27 minutes opened the scoring for the hosts, before Tammy Abraham netted the second seven minutes before halftime.
Callum Hudson-Odoi netting the final strike earlier in the second half, giving the visitors back-to-back league defeats.
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United settled for a 1-1 draw at the Molineux Stadium.
The Magpies stunned the hosts with a seventh minute opener through Miguel Almiron, but the effort was cancelled out seven minutes later after Leander Dendoncker netted the equaliser.
