Manchester United remain reportedly keeping close track of Cristiano Ronaldo's situation at Juventus amid rumours the Italian club could look to cash in on the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Regardless of the former Real Madrid talisman being 35 years old and having won nearly every individual and team trophy open to him in his career, his hunger and desire has not waned at all.

Ronaldo is still very much among the leading players in world football, with the forward having struck 16 goals already in only 13 appearances so far this year for Juve.

His future in Italy, however, is thought to be uncertain amid the financial strain the Bianconeri have observed in 2020, although he does have 2 yrs remaining on his contract.

Manchester United, whom Ronaldo represented from 2003 to 2009, are claimed to be among the clubs monitoring his situation at the Old Lady.

Per Tuttojuve, the Portugal captain is still being closely watched by the Red Devils, who are willing to match his current wages on a two-year deal with the option of a third.

Ronaldo has never ruled out the possibility of time for United, where he won his first Ballon d'Or and UEFA Champions League title, but his potential return might rely upon set up English giants be eligible for the European competition next season.

Having played 102 times for Juve since 2018, he has scored 81 goals and assisted a further 19 strikes for the Bianconeri.
