Marks & Spencer launches food delivery app in Dubai

British food hall Marks & Spencer launched a food delivery app in the UAE, meaning you can get your M&S favourites delivered right to your front door in Dubai.

The app, Marks & Spencer Food, is available to download on Android and Apple app stores, and includes everything from ready meals and British favourites such as crumpets and shortbread to chilled and frozen goods.

Home delivery is currently available to those living in the following Dubai neighbourhoods: The Meadows, The Springs, Emirates Hills, Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Dubai Sports City, Motor City, Jumeirah Golf Estate, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Jumeirah Park, The Lakes and The Greens. A representative for M&S said the store has "plans for expansion in the near future".

Customers can get same-day delivery on orders before 2pm and next-day delivery for orders placed after that. The home delivery service is free with a Dh150 minimum spend. Upon downloading the app, customers will receive 10 per cent off their first order.

Ordering online doesn't mean you miss out on in-store promotions either, as discounts are handily displayed at the top of the app's home screen.

Marks & Spencer favourites include a variety of antipasti, luxury cheese boards and desserts. There is also a fresh meat and poultry selection, as well as an extensive plant-based vegan range, Plant Kitchen.

The confectionery is another firm favourite, with the shortbread, pastries and Colin the Caterpillar cake all available in the UAE.
