A Metropolitan Police officer has been arrested regarding the the disappearance of a Brixton girl.

Sarah Everard, 33, disappeared on the night of Wednesday, March 3.

Police said the officer was arrested at an address in Kent and is being held at a London police station.

A woman was arrested at the same address on suspicion of assisting an offender and in addition has been taken into custody at a London police station.

Sarah have been at a friend's residence found in Clapham on Wednesday night time.

About 9pm she left the property in Leathwaite Road through a back gate on to the A205 South Circular and commenced walking to her real estate in Brixton.

She is considered to have walked across Clapham Basic and was expected to arrive home about 50 minutes later.

It really is unclear if she returned to her residence address. She has certainly not been seen or noticed from since.
