Mongolia locks down places after reporting first virus case

Mongolia on Tuesday barred anyone from entering or leaving its places for six days following the country reported its primary coronavirus case -- a good French energy company worker who flew found in from Moscow.
Mongolia had already sealed its border with neighboring China and banned flights from South Korea in an effort to keep carefully the deadly virus out of your landlocked country of three million people.
"The capital Ulaanbaatar and all province centers happen to be quarantined until March 16 to curb the outbreak," Deputy Primary Minister Enkhtuvshin Ulziisaikhan said at a press conference.
The move means persons are not allowed to enter or keep the capital or rural cities for nearly weekly, he said.
Mongolia is the latest region to enact tough methods to contain the epidemic.
China has locked down some 56 million persons at the epicenter of the crisis in Hubei province and told millions more to remain home in the united states. Italy has imposed restrictions on the complete country.
More than 4,000 persons have died and over 110,000 have been infected all over the world, with China accounting for most conditions, though infections are actually growing at a quicker pace abroad.
In Mongolia's primary case, the French countrywide arrived on March 2 on a flight from Moscow, said Well being Minister Davaajantsangiin Sarangerel.
The person, who works for a subsidiary of French nuclear firm Orano, was likely to have remained in quarantine in his hotel for two weeks but ignored the rule, the minister said.
He also visited a good uranium mining project in Dornogobi province.
Orano includes a subsidiary found in Mongolia called Badrakh Energy, which mines for uranium found in the vast country.
