More Airport to provide Flights to Nowhere

Cash-strapped airlines will offer you unexpectedly popular flights to nowhere from more airports.
Up to now such flights took off and landed again only at Incheon AIRPORT TERMINAL, but the airfields of Gimpo, Daegu and Gimhae may also offer them from May, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said Sunday.
Passengers spend several hours cruising around foreign airspace to allow them to have a glimpse of distant shores from the window and land where they started.
The government allowed the flights to aid the aviation industry and spur private consumption amid the coronavirus pandemic. Passengers may also buy duty-free products up to speed.
Seven Korean airlines experienced about 8,000 passengers on 75 flights since December.
