Neymar Names His Three Favourite Players To Watch
06 February, 2020
Showing that even the best footballers in the world have idols, Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has named the three superstars he loved watching the most in his lifetime so far.
In a recent interview with FIFA's official website, the 28-year-old covered a wide variety of topics, such as missing the 2019 Copa America through injury and Brazil's chances at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Neymar, for all of his ability, has often been criticised in recent years, mainly due to some of his on-field and off-field behaviour since his arrival at PSG from FC Barcelona in 2017.
The Brazilian, however, remains one of the most influential players in football, but even he has players he admires or once admired watching.
When asked to name three stars he enjoyed witnessing in their prime in his lifetime, Neymar named three players he has been fortunate to play with.
"Ronaldinho, Robinho and Messi," he responded.
Asked more about Messi, the Selecao talisman insisted the Argentine is the best he has ever seen.
"Playing alongside Leo was a unique experience, and we became friends," he added.
"Of those I've seen play, Messi is the best in history!"
