Official: Chelsea Confirm First 21/22 Signing

It's been a quiet transfer window for Chelsea so far, but the European champions have confirmed their first signing for the 2021/2022 season.
The Blues have announced the signing of goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli from Championship outfit Fulham on a free transfer.
Bettinelli has signed a two-year deal and will provide competition to Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga after the club parted ways with Argentine shot-stopper Willy Caballero.
"It’s always been a special club. I know the area very well so it’s been a dream of mine to come over to this side and it’s finally happened," Bettinelli told the club's official website.
"There were some talks a few years ago when I was a bit younger and for whatever reason that didn’t come about but I’m here now.
"I’m really excited to be involved and looking forward to trying to impress and help the team as much as I can."
