Griezmann Swap Deal 'Agreed'
A massive swap deal that would see Antoine Griezmann leave Barcelona in this transfer window has reportedly been agreed.

According to Spanish publication COPE, the Frenchman could depart the Catalan giants in this window as the club seeks to get him off its wage bill.

It is claimed that Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have agreed a swap deal involving Griezmann and midfielder Saul Niguez, who appears to have fallen down Diego Simeone's pecking order in the Spanish capital.

Griezmann, it is said, has been open to returning to the Wanda Metropolitano ever since discovering that Barca have deemed him surplus to requirements.

Saul, meanwhile, has not featured as regularly in recent years under Simeone as he has in the past, and could see his playing time cut even shorter following the arrival of 2021 Copa America winner Rodrigo De Paul from Udinese.

Per COPE, an agreement between the two teams is in place, although there could still be a lot of negotiating to do between the players and clubs if this deal is to be completed.

Griezmann is reportedly on holiday in Ibiza with former Atleti teammate Koke as he awaits more news from the Blaugrana as to what his future at the club entails.
