How Barca Could Line Up After Player Sales & New Signings
With Barcelona reportedly set to sell about 10 players in this transfer window, and with the club having already announced four new signings, here is how the team could line up next season!

This has already been a busy window for the Catalan giants, who have welcomed Sergio Aguero, Eric Garcia, Memphis Depay and Emerson to the Camp Nou, and already let six players leave, including left-back Junior Firpo.

More players are expected to make an exit, though, perhaps even high-profile stars such as Antoine Griezmann and Philippe Coutinho, which creates an interesting situation for manager Ronald Koeman.

Taking the above into consideration, how will the LaLiga giants line up next season?

It is likely that new centre-back Garcia, who has returned to the club after four years at Manchester City, will be deployed alongside veteran defender Gerard Pique, someone he has admitted to idolising.

Emerson, meanwhile, is a right-back by trade and will head into the new season having impressed in that position for Real Betis, where he spent the past two campaigns. Koeman, therefore, might prefer the Brazilian to Sergi Roberto and Sergino Dest in that position.

For Depay, it is likely that the Dutch international would be used in central or wide positions. Throughout his career, he has naturally come inside from the left side of attack, which could potentially be replicated at Barcelona.

In this starting XI, the 27-year-old has been selected over Griezmann, who could reportedly find himself sold in this transfer window in order for the club to raise funds for a new contract for Lionel Messi.

Aguero, who was the Catalans' first signing of the window, is expected to lead the line for Koeman, ahead of Martin Braithwaite. You can see Barcelona's full possible starting XI for the 2021/22 campaign in the gallery above!
