Report: Barca Find New Transfer Target Immediately after Wijnaldum Snub
FC Barcelona have reportedly discovered a new transfer aim for after their package for outgoing Liverpool star Georginio Wijnaldum fell through.

The Dutch midfielder was heavily tipped to reunite with former Netherlands supervisor Ronald Koeman at the Camp Nou following his departure from the Reds as a free of charge agent.

However, new studies emerged this week suggesting that Paris Saint-Germain possess hijacked the move after offering the midfielder a bigger earnings compared to the Catalan giants had.

Spanish publication Diario AS has reported that Barcelona haven't any plans to raise their give for Wijnaldum, and are now turning their focus on AS Roma star Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Pellegrini is entering the ultimate year of his agreement with the Serie A outfit, in fact it is unclear whether or not he plans to extend his cope with new manager Jose Mourinho coming in next season.

It is further claimed that the Blaugrana could deal with competition from Liverpool for the player's signature, with Roma willing to accept a good bid around €25 million (R412 million) for the midfielder.

Barcelona have previously completed discounts for Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia on free transfers in the last two weeks.
