Italian giants Juventus have unveiled new signing Arthur Melo, who joined the club for an enormous €72 million from FC Barcelona, and revealed his shirt number.
The 24-year-old joined the Serie A giants in a significant swap deal that saw Miralem Pjanic go the other way, although both were registered as separate transfers.
Arthur was presented as Juventus player for the very first time on Wednesday, with the club confirming he'll wear the No. 5 shirt.
"Juventus has decided to spend money on me, and for me personally, it's a reason for incredible enthusiasm," he said at his unveiling, based on the Serie A giants' official website.
"I'll do everything to honour this commitment. I've the possibility to play with important teammates, the Juventus project is incredibly ambitious and I am a part of it.
"The Champions League? It might be an incredible title and we will use all our strength to win it.
"I haven't talked at length with coach Pirlo yet, but he knows football like few others. Being coached by him can be a privilege.
"Anyone who loves football knows who Pirlo is. Working with him is an honour, his greatness needs no introduction."
