Official: Juventus Confirm Two First-Team Depatures
Serie A giants Juventus have confirmed another two first-team departures ahead of the new Serie A season.

Turky internationa Merih Demiral will join fellow Serie A side Atalanta on a season-long loan as he goes in search of regular game time.

The 23-year-old racked 15 appearances in LaLiga last season and will now look forward to more game time with Atalanta, who finished third and will compete in the UEFA Champions League.

Juventus have also confirmed that defender Cristian Romero has permanently left the club after Atalanta excerised their option to make his loan move permanent.

Statement:
Juventus Football Club S.p.A announces that Atalanta B.C. S.p.A., following the agreement signed on 5 September 2020, has exercised the option rights for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Cristian Romero for a consideration of € 16 million, to be paid in three financial years.

This operation generates a negative economic effect of approximately € 4.8 million on the 2020/2021 financial year due to the partial write-down of the net book value of the player’s registration rights.
