Pompeo to go to occupied West Bank found in first US trip to the settlement
US Secretary of Talk about Mike Pompeo is expected to visit the occupied West Lender this week, the primary visit by a high American diplomat to an Israeli settlement.

The West Lender and East Jerusalem were captured by Israel in the 1967 war, territories the Palestinians want for their future state.

Since in that case, Israel has generated about 130 settlements and a large number of smaller outposts, ranging from clusters of mobile phone homes on remote hilltops to fully developed towns.

Mr Pompeo's trip to the occupied West Lender will highlight a several approach taken by past US administrations, Democratic and Republican, which frequently criticised Israel over settlement development.

The Palestinians say the settlements make it nearly impossible to make a viable state.

The most notable US diplomat could also visit the Golan Heights, which Israel seized from Syria in the 1967 war.

The production comes as the UAE affirmed its commitment to promote peace between Palestine and Israel, the country's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, said on Tuesday.

A historic package was recently signed between the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Israel to establish relations.

“Sheikh Abdullah discussed with the UN envoy for the peace process in the centre East, Nikolai Miladinov, ways of putting the peace procedure between the Palestinians and Israelis again on track in a way that plays a part in strengthening security and stableness in the centre East,” state news firm Wam reported.

Sheikh Abdullah said that attaining peace in the Middle East will "develop the region and ensure protection and prosperity because of its citizens".

The UAE official underlined his country’s willingness to help expand enhance co-operation with the UN and support all international efforts to market stability and peace all over the world.

Sheikh Abdullah previously said that the burgeoning romance with Israel will "strengthen international steadiness" and that "tolerance and pluralism" should be strengthened in your community.
