Paris Saint-Germain missed the opportunity to go top of the French Ligue 1 table once they were held to a goalless draw by new leaders Lille on Sunday evening.
With Neymar already eliminated until January because of injury, Kylian Mbappe only started on the bench, with Angel Di Maria and Moise Kean leading the attack for PSG.
The sides were guarded in the first stages and Rafinha came the closest to breaking the deadlock for the visitors in the 25th minute with a powerful header that sailed wide of the post after lofted cross by Di Maria.
Di Maria had a chance to put Thomas Tuchel's charges ahead 5 minutes later with a free-kick just beyond your box but his dipping effort missed slightly over the bar.
With the overall game was opening up in the closing phase of the first stanza, Kean came close to grabbing the lead for the Parisians right before the break with a cheeky back-heel that forced goalkeeper Mike Maignan right into a fine save.
The game was there for the taking early in the next stanza and Yusuf Yazici thought he previously snatched the lead for Lille eight minutes after the break with an excellent finish but his goal was eliminated for offside.
The visitors were finding chances but were wasteful in attack, which promptd Tuchel to produce a double change within the last 13 minutes, as he finally induced Mbappe instead of Di Maria and Julian Draxler replaced Rafinha.
Even with the introducition of Mbbape and Draxler, neither side created clear chances therefore because they both settled for the share of the spoils, with Lille likely to the very best of the log while PSG stay in third place, just a point shy of top spot.
