Raveena urges persons to be kind to stray animals

She may be a grandmother at age 46, but that doesn't make a difference to Raveena Tandon. The actress, who adopted two girls, Pooja and Chaya, when she was just 21, has often said that she has never regretted your choice and is grateful for all your love, happiness and laughter that her daughters have brought into her life. Raveena said that whenever she adopted girls, the elder one had been 11-years-old, so there wasn't a lot of an age gap between them.

The actress added that adopting the girls was one of the best decisions of her life and that despite being told then that she was jeopardizing her career by firmly taking such a decision, she had no regrets.  Raveena is married to film distributor Anil Thadani and the couple are parents to daughter Rasha and son Ranbirvardhan. She often shares posts of her family on social media along with her numerous pets. The actress is well known for her love for animals and has often rescued them from the streets and helped them find good homes. She's adopted several animals herself. Just recently, when Mumbai was deluged with heavy rainfall, Raveena shared a video of rescuing a stray puppy, who was soaked in the torrential rain and shivering. She urged persons to be kind to strays and adopt them when possible.
