Real President Finally Responds To Zidane's Exit Letter
Real Madrid president Florentino Prerez has finally broken his silence on Zinedine Zidane's letter that explains why he left the club.

Zidane stepped down as Los Blancos manager for another time after the club ended the 2020/2021 season with out a trophy.

The Frenchman detailed in the farewell letter that he felt the Spanish giants had no more had confidence in him, a statement which Perez has denied although he claims he did not read the latter.

"I know him [Zidane] and it's been a hard year, I fought for him to remain," Perez told Spanish radio station Onda Cero's Transistor programme.

"I have not browse the farewell letter, I swear on my grandchildren. The individual who wrote that letter was not Zidane.

"I wish him well, he has been a legend for Real Madrid and he has our recognition, he gets the imagine being the French coach and I'm sure he'll achieve it."

During his two stints with the Madrid outfit, Zidane led the club to 11 trophies which include three UEFA Champions League titles and two LaLiga crowns.

Los Blancos have since replaced Zidane with their former manager Carlo Ancelotti, who worked alongside the Frenchman during his first spell.
