Ronaldo Banned From Making Debut For Al Nassr
05 January, 2023
Ex-Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been banned from making his debut for Al Nassr on Thursday following his big-money move to Saudi Arabia.
According to the Daily Mail, the 37-year-old was set to make his first appearance for the Saudi giants against Al-Tai on Thursday.
Ronaldo, however, is now believed to be unavailable for selection due to a ban that was imposed on him by the English FA just days before his contract at the Red Devils was mutually terminated.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner was handed a two-match suspension by the English football body for smashing a phone out of a young fan's hand in an incident that occurred early last year.As he was unable to serve his punishment in England, FIFA's regulations state that "any disciplinary sanction of up to four matches or up to three months that has been imposed on a player by the former association but not yet (entirely) served by the time of the transfer shall be enforced by the new association at which the player has been registered in order for the sanction to be served at domestic level".
This means that Ronaldo is likely to miss Al Nassr's match against Al-Tai on Thursday, while he will also need to sit out when they take on Al Shabab next week Saturday.
