Ronaldo Sets More Scoring Records
20 January, 2020
After scoring yet another two goals in Juventus’ 2-1 win in Serie A on Sunday night, the incredible and in-form superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has set more scoring records for himself.
The 34-year-old struck twice in the Bianconeri’s victory over Parma, opening the scoring in the 43rd minute, before finding the back of the net again in the 58th minute, after the away side had equalised just moments earlier.
Ronaldo has now managed to score in seven league matches in a row for the Old Lady, becoming the first player to so for the Italian giants since French forward David Trezeguet in the 2005/06 season.
The Portugal international has also now taking his Serie A tally to 16 for the campaign so far, which means he is the only player in the history of Europe’s top five divisions to score at least 15 goals in each of his last 14 seasons.
Ronaldo has struck 18 times in 24 matches across all competitions so far this season, assisting a further three strikes.
