Russia won't meddle found in Sino-Indian border dispute
Russia on Tuesday said it would not mediate found in the Sino-Indian border dispute and said that both Parts of asia were with the capacity of bilaterally handling the problem peacefully.

Interacting with reporters through video recording conference following a trilateral assembly of the Russia-India-China (RIC) video-conference meeting at the foreign ministerial level, Russian Overseas Minister Sergey Lavrov however hoped both Asian neighbours could remain focused on the calm resolution of the problem. The comments come a week after the deadly border clash between Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan valley in the Ladakh sector in which both sides suffered casualties.

Russia maintains close ties with both India and China and its views are therefore seen as extremely important. Moscow is also an essential supplier of cutting-edge defence systems to India and possesses time-analyzed ties with New Delhi that return back years as the erstwhile Soviet Union.

In response to a media query, the Russian Foreign Minister said, “You asked me whether Russia can donate to better relations between India and China, ... We never sought to help India and China build better relations because they have got everything they have to solve every sort of problem which may possibly come up between them. It’s ok to end up having your neighbours and with different countries ... I don’t believe India and China want any support from the outside ... especially when it involves concrete issues. They are able to solve them by themselves. ... I check out no reason Russia or other people will be imposing their offerings on India and China to greatly help them fix their own problems.”

Mr. Lavrov added, “On the recent occurrences, New Delhi and Beijing have previously proven their commitment to calm resolution, following this incident, they already began meetings at the level of defence officers, overseas ministers and incidentally neither of both manufactured any statements that would indicate that some of them would proceed with various other non-diplomatic solutions. We anticipation the situation will continue to be peaceful, they will continue being committed to tranquil resolution of disputes.”

The Russian Foreign Minister further more said, “We maintain incredibly close connection with India and China inside (multilateral fora) BRICS and SCO. ... the actual fact that we have incredibly close cooperation really helps to foster the dialogue between India and China. They have got very great ongoing dialogue and may work together to market their financial and financial and different interests. ... I can let you know their relations have gone an extremely long way. Within the last year or two, they made huge improvement.”
