Samsung Launches Flagship S20 Series and Z Flip Folding Phone in Indonesia

Samsung Indonesia on Wednesday launched the most recent addition to its Galaxy S flagship smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, and a fresh high-end folding phone called the Galaxy Z Flip.
"For more than a decade, Samsung has given a lot of innovations. Today, consumers want a more powerful device. I'm excited to present a brand new era of mobile with the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Z Flip," Kwon Jae Hoon, the president director of Samsung Electronics Indonesia, said at the launch event in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The Galaxy S20 series has three models - the S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra, each with different sizes and specifications.
The S20 includes a 6.2-inch screen with a triple rear camera, the S20+ a 6.7-inch screen with 64 megapixels quad rear camera and the S20 Ultra a 6.9-inch screen with 108 megapixels quad rear camera.
The S20 Ultra's striking quad-camera features Nona-Binning technology and 8K Video recording. In addition, it includes a unique folded lens technology that delivers 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom and a better low-light mode.
The S20 introduces the single-take camera feature to snap photos and videos in a single click. Its camera can be powered with AI technology.
Both the S20 and the S20+ have a 64-megapixel camera that may record 8K video.
The Galaxy Z Flip meanwhile is Samsung's latest addition to the folding phone market following the Samsung Galaxy Fold, which was released in September last year.
The compact 6.7-inch flip phone features Samsung's Foldable UX that splits the screen if it is in flip mode.
The telephone has three cameras, and one of these is a 10-megapixel mini selfie camera you can utilize when the phone is closed.
Prices for the S20 series phones start at Rp 13 million ($916) for the Galaxy S20 and rise to Rp 14.5 million for the Galaxy S20+ and Rp 18.5 million for the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Flip is Rp 21.8 million.
All phones will be available at Samsung stores beginning with Friday.
You may get a hands-on experience with the Samsung S20 series phones and the Z Flip at the Samsung consumer launch at Central Park and Kelapa Gading Mall in Jakarta and Pakuwon Mall in Surabaya on March 6-8, and at Sun Plaza Mall in Medan on March 27-29.
