Travel could possibly be off the menu for everyone right now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t relive a few of our favourite memories during our self-isolation.
And that is what Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, did on his Instagram stories, posting a series of pictures from his recent visit to the Isle of May off the east coast of Scotland.
Sporting a blue fleece and beanie hat, Sheikh Hamdan's story shows him overladen with Canon cameras and lenses aboard a boat as he heads out towards the Isle’s towering cliffs.
The pictures were also featured on the Group Fazza Instagram wall, accompanied by the words: “Life will move on, to create happy and new memories an increasing number of beautiful than the past.”
Scotland’s Isle of May is a preserved nature reserve known for its incredible bird life. It comes alive every summer when its scaling cliffs heave with noisy nesting seabirds and brightly coloured puffins.
As a specialist photographer, a few of the images in Sheikh Hamdan's story include amazing captures of the seabirds. There's a superbly-timed shot of a puffin with a mouth packed with fish, and an adorable snap of a mother seabird and her newborn chick.
The story offers some candid captures showing the Dubai crown prince tucking right into a pre-packed sandwich and using a soft toy puffin in the neighborhood gift shop.
