South Korea reports 657 innovative daily COVID cases, fewest in almost 4 weeks

South Korea reported 657 new coronavirus cases for Saturday (Jan 2), the cheapest daily infection total found in nearly a month, as tougher restrictions through the New Year holiday season helped fight the pass on.
That was lower from 824 the day before, but brought the full total cases to 63,244 with 962 deaths, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) said on Sunday.
The united states has expanded a ban on private gatherings bigger than four people to add the complete country, and extend unprecedented social distancing rules in Seoul and neighbouring areas until Jan 17.
