Wolfsburg moved in to the top six with an essential victory away to Werder Bremen on Sunday afternoon.
Wout Weghorst was the hero after showing up with the winning goal in the 82nd minute to take his tally to 12 league goals for the campaign.
Union Berlin 1-1 Schalke
Schalke have finally gone 12 games with out a win in the Bundesliga after drawing 1-1 with Union Berlin at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.
Robert Andrich got the scoring underway for the house side in the 11th minute, before Schalke secured their equaliser on 28 minutes through on-loan Everton defende Jonjoe Kenny.
Augsburg 1-1 Koln
It was honours even WWK Arena as Augsburg and Koln settled for a 1-1 draw on Sunday evening.
The looked to be at risk of a stalemate after Augsburg's Florian Niederlechner missed a first-half penalty.
However, Anthony Modeste handed Koln the lead on 85 minutes, only for the the hosts to equalise 3 minutes later through Philipp Max.
