Thailand confirms 382 new COVID-19 infections

Thailand confirmed 382 new coronavirus infections on Monday (Dec 21), with the majority of cases associated with a seafood centre outbreak in a province near the capital, medical ministry said.
The brand new cases include 360 migrant personnel in the southwestern province of Samut Sakhon, where Thailand's worst outbreak yet appeared at the weekend.
There were also 14 other cases in six provinces, all except one of which can be found close to the capital Bangkok.
There have been also eight imported cases.
On Sunday, Thai authorities said they planned to check a lot more than 10,000 people after an archive daily surge in coronavirus cases to a lot more than 500 from the seafood centre in Samut Sakhon.
By Wednesday the authorities try to conduct 10,300 tests in Samut Sakhon and local provinces such as for example Samut Songkhram and Nakhon Pathom, Taweesin Wisanuyothin.
