The Money Mbappe Rejected From PSG Revealed?
02 September, 2021
Just how much money Kylian Mbappe rejected in a contract offer from Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly been revealed, and it would have seen him earn more than Neymar and Lionel Messi.
According to French publication Le Parisien, the 22-year-old recently turned down a massive contract renewal offer from the Paris-based giants.
Mbappe is believed to have rejected a number of approaches to extend his stay from PSG, who were said to ignore a deadline-day offer from Real Madrid for the France star's services on Tuesday.
This latest contract offer, however, would have reportedly seen the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner become the highest-paid player at the club.
It is claimed the Ligue 1 giants were willing to pay the forward an astonishing €45 million (R767 million) annually, which is believed to be more than what his teammates Neymar and Messi earn at the club.
Here is a breakdown of the reported contract offer:
€45 million (R767 million) per year
€865 384 (R14.7 million) per week
€123 626 (R2 million) per day
€5 151 (R86 000) per hour
€85.85 (R1 400) per minute
€1.43 (R24) per second
