3 PSG Players Could Leave Because Of Messi
Three Paris Saint-Germain first-team players could reportedly leave the club because of Lionel Messi's arrival in France.

Reports suggest that the former Sevilla winger could depart PSG before the close of this transfer window, perhaps as his playing time is expected to decrease following the arrival of Messi.

For the most part, the Spain international has been used on the right side of attack, which is an area that, if Messi is not starting in, he will likely drift into naturally from where he can cut back inside on to his lethal left foot.

According to Marca, LaLiga champions Atletico Madrid could potentially move for the player should Saul Niguez, who is heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, leave Los Rojiblancos in this window.

The Ligue 1 table-toppers are also said to still be eager to sell 28-year-old striker Mauro Icardi permanently. Juventus have reportedly shown interest in the past, but are understood to only want the Argentine on a loan deal.

PSG are said to be looking to offload the former Inter Milan forward, who is expected to fall down the pecking order in the capital of France.

Last on the three-player list is Kylian Mbappe, whose signature could come at a cost of more than €200 million (R3.4 billion) for Real Madrid should the Spanish giants attempt to sign him again before the transfer deadline on Tuesday night.

Although Mbappe has been linked with a move away from PSG for some time, Messi's arrival at the Parc des Princes has reportedly not convinced him of the club's sporting project, which was believed to be president Nasser Al-Khelaifi's plan.
