US president declares support for Jordan found in call to King Abdullah
US President Joe Biden declared his support for Jordan found in a phone to King Abdullah II on Wednesday, days immediately after Jordan said it had foiled an procedure by dissenters to "destabilise" the country.

He said the problem was personally taxing for him given Prince Hamzah's romance to the royal family group.

"Sedition originated from within and without our one house, and nothing compares to my shock, pain and anger as a good brother and as the top of the Hashemite family group, and as a head of this proud persons," the king said.

Prince Hamzah has since issued a letter backing the king and pledging his loyalty to him. He has not been arrested.

“Hamzah is today found in his palace, along with his family, under my health care,” King Abdullah said.
