Flood-stricken residents along Australia's east coast commenced a massive clean up effort in Thursday as waters receded, revealing destroyed homes, piles of debris and mud-caked roads.
The spot has been devastated by widespread flooding due to a torrential downpour that inundated towns, destroyed farmland and kept two people dead.
