Alcoyano 1-3 Real Madrid
Real Madrid booked their spot in the next round of the Copa del Rey with a 3-1 victory over Alcoyano.
Despite facing lower league opposition, Los Blancos head coach Carlo Ancelotti went with a strong line-up as goalkeeper Andry Lunin and Mariano Diaz were the only non-regulars in the side.
Eder Militao opened the scoring for the visitors in the 39th minute, but the hosts hit back through Dani Vega just after the hour mark.
However, Marco Asensio restored Real's 10 minutes later before an own goal from Jose Juan wrapped up the win for Ancelotti's charges.
Linares Deportivo 1-2 FC Barcelona
Barcelona survived a scare in the round of 32 after coming from behind to defeat third-tier outfit Linares Deportivo.
Dani Alves made his first appearances since re-signing for the club on a free transfer while Ferran Torres is yet to be registered,
The home side took a surprising lead after 19 minutes, with Hugo Diaz firing past second choice goalkeeper Neto after being set up by Fran Carnicer.
Ousmane Dembele, Gerard Pique and Frenkie De Jong were introduced in the second half as Xavi Hernandez reinforced his side to avoid a shock.
The changes paid off as Dembele brought Barcelona level in the 63rd minute, before Ferran Jutgla got the second goal in the six minutes later which proved to be the winner.
