Bayern Munich 4-0 Hoffenheim
Bayern Munich retained top spot in the Bundesliga after thumping Hoffenheim 4-0 at the Allianz Arena.
Serge Gnabry had an early goal disallowed for Bayern by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for a foul in the build-up before eventually opening the scoring in the 16th minute and Robert Lewandowski doubled their lead on the half-hour mark.
Two late goals by Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Kingsley Coman secured a resounding win for the Bavarians.
Arminia Bielefeld 1-3 Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund kept pressure on leaders Bayern Munich after thrashing Armenia Bielefeld 3-1 at Schuco Arena.
Emre Can broke the deadlock for Dortmund on the half-hour mark, Mats Hummels doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time and Jude Bellingham put the game to bed in the last 18 minutes.
Fabian Klos scored a consolation goal for Armimia three minutes before time.
RB Leipzig 4-1 Greuther Furth
RB Leipzig went up to sixth on the table after hammering Greuther Furth 4-1 at Red Bull Arena.
Furth broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time after Branimir Hrgota converted a penalty but Yussuf Poulsen equalised for Leipzig within a minute from the half-time break.
Emil Forsberg and Dominik Szoboszlai quickly made it 3-1 for the hosts before a late goal by Hugo Novoa Ramos rounded off an emphatic win.
Wolfsburg 0-2 Freiburg
Freiburg remaimed the only side yet to lose and went up to third on the log after beating Wolfsburg 2-0 Volkswagen Arena.
Philipp Lienhart broke the deadlock for Freiburg just before the half-hour mark and Lucas Holer secured the three points with the second goal for the visitors 22 minutes before time.
Hertha Berlin 1-0 Borussia Mochengladbach
Borussia Mochengladbach's three-game unbeaten run came to an end after a narrow 1-0 loss to Hertha Berlin at Olympiastadion.
Marco Richter broke the deadlock for Hertha five minutes before the half-time break and that proved to be the winner, as they leapfrogged Gladbach on the log, up to tenth.
