Beckham 'In Talks' With Ronaldo Over Future Transfer
04 March, 2021
David Beckham, who is seemingly continuing his bid to take on his Inter Miami project to new levels, is usually reportedly "on talks" with Cristiano Ronaldo about bringing him to the club.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar is now a co-owner of the Key League Soccer side, and has ambitious plans.
He roped found in his previous United teammate Phil Neville as being head coach earlier this season, and revealed earlier this week that he'd love to deliver Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to Key League Soccer (MLS).
There seems to be more to it than just words, though, just as Beckham is believed to already be talking with Ronaldo's representatives about a potential move, according to todofichajes.com.
The 36-year-old, whose contract with Juventus is scheduled to expire in June 2022, is reported to be interested in the task.
Given the MLS operates from March to December, Ronaldo might generate the move around in January 2022 when he simply has six months still left on his current package and a transfer cost would be considerably lower.
