Being father to daughters makes me 'more tender and gentler'

Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson, who is father to daughters Tia, Jasmine, and Simone, recently talked about how having daughters has taught him to be 'more tender and gentler'.

Johnson said that the most important thing he's uncovered is to "you need to be there." "You will be wired, as a whole lot of fathers are, to repair things. Just having an expanded capacity to pay attention and become more tender and gentle really gave me that ability to solve whatever the problem is, but with them in comparison to for them", said Johnson. Over the last year during the pandemic, Johnson became a lot more appreciative of his "blessed" life.

"It had been a shakeup for all of us. I did this weird thing every day where I still got up and got dressed like I was on the point of go someplace. I mean, shoes and all. That helped me psychologically. On a relationship and marriage standpoint, you realize you should really be mindful of your reactions and responses because your patience capacity starts to compress", he added.

In the home, daughters Jasmine and Tia "are tornadoes and incredibly passionate about how they feel," the actor said, "Lauren and I like raising them within an environment and a culture where there are no limits alive. You can do whatever you want, and you will achieve whatever you want. However, I need you to be flexible with how exactly we get there."

Johnson's own unconventional journey to Hollywood has led him to become among the highest-paid actors on the globe. His growing business empire includes his Seven Bucks production company, Teremana Tequila, Zoa energy drink and a partnership with Under Armour.

He even insisted that he'll never take his own blessings for granted. "The most important things are right in front of me. I am in regular thank-you mode", he added.

Johnson is father to 3-year-old Tia, and 5-year-old Jasmine, with his wife and singer Lauren Hashian. His daughter Simone, who's 19-years old, has been his ex-wife and business partner Dany Garcia.
