FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has built history once more, achieving an unbelievable goal milestone only achieved by Cristiano Ronaldo and 6 other players in the annals of the game.
The 32-year-old once more found the trunk of the net against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday. As a result, he has scored 700 profession goals for golf club and nation, joining an illustrious list of only seven players who have reached this incredible milestone.
Messi has scored 630 goals for FC Barcelona, while his other 70 strikes attended for Argentina.
He also achieved the milestone considerably quicker than longstanding rival Ronaldo, who was 34 years ancient when he scored his 700th career aim in October 2019.
Ronaldo needed 973 official games to score 700 goals, while Messi reached the tag in only 862 games for golf club and country.
