Dubai members' golf club Nasab is offering businesses impacted by coronavirus a free of charge workspace

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, local and international institutions in the UAE have stepped up their philanthropic work to aid the local community.
Right now Nasab, the members-simply workspace and social club that launched in the UAE in February 2019, is keen to assist.
Nasab, which is portion of Dubai’s Koa Canvas expansion in Al Barari, offers launched a good recovery programme that may provide up to 30 eligible businesses with complimentary office buildings and workspaces for half a year, in order to supply them with “the various tools to reconnect with a like-minded community and the financial space to thrive in a post Covid-19 environment”.
The programme is merely open to UAE citizens and residents, with homegrown, independent, freelance or small enterprises with a track record of innovation. It is reserved for corporations that started their businesses before 2019, possess between one and 16 staff and includes a founder that can be older than 21.
Applicants considering the programme should check out www.nasabdubai.com/recovery/ and apply before Wednesday, July 15.
Applicants should show proof of:
- The size of the increased loss of business incurred consequently of cancellation of contracts or work between March - June 2020
- The quantity of financial setback for the company therefore of Covid-19
- The business’s background for quality and value
- A business sustainability plan
Applicants will also need to submit the next:
- Trade license or job permit
- A copy of Emirates ID
- A replicate of passport with UAE residency visa
- Copies of cancelled agreements/works/agreements that damaged the business’s income found in March to September, and / or proof reduced income
- A good statement of plans for the period that the rent-free of charge period is requested, with details on plans on optimising the hire-no cost period for company growth
- Mohammed bin Zaal, founder and leader business office of Koa, says this individual hoped the initiative would "continue each of our legacy" of creating exceptional tasks in the UAE.
“Our main aim through the entire production of Nasab has been to provide a space where creatives, business owners and like-minded individuals have a place to set up homes-away-from-home.
“Our hope is that the programme provides a much-needed space for many who shape and donate to the imaginative industry - entrepreneurs, leaders in tech, art, design and fashion. The team have worked extraordinarily hard to create an incredible space; we can’t hold out to now see the community grow within it.”
The three-level club is anchored by a big, open-plan space that feels like a modern-day library. In addition, it features communal tables separated by book shelves and meeting areas with different design.
