France Extend Winless Run, As Depay Shines For Dutch

France have extended their winless run to five matches after dropping points against Ukraine on Saturday night.

The hosts broke the deadlock in spectacular fashion just before the break thanks to Mykola Shaparenko's superb strike that found the top corner.

France were back on level terms shortly after the break when Anthony Martial fired home from close range with his second goal for the national side.

Netherlands 4-0 Montenegro

Netherlands remains second in Group G despite thrashing Montenegro 4-0 on Saturday night.

Memphis Depay opened the scoring for the Dutch on 38 minutes from the penalty spot, before the Barcelona forward got his second goal just after the hour mark.

Georginio Wijnaldum added a third for the hosts on 70 minutes before Cody Gakpo completed the rout.

Faroe Islands 0-1 Denmark

Denmark cemented top spot in Group F with a 1-0 victory over the Faroe Islands thanks to Jonas Wind's 85th minute strike on Saturday night.

Slovakia 0-1 Croatia

Marcelo Brozovic struck in the final four minutes of the second half to secure Croatia a 1-0 win away to Slovakia.

The win sees Croatia remain in second spot, but they are level on points with leaders Russia.

Latvia 0-2 Norway

Norway got back to winning ways in Group G after defeating Latvia 2-0 on Saturday evening.

Erling Haaland was on target for the second straight game after opening the scoring from the penalty spot, before Mohamed Elyounoussi got the second goal on 66 minutes.
