Gal's 'WW84' release pushed until August
The DC superhero film, starring Gal Gadot in the lead that was scheduled to open on June 5, will now hit the screens on August 14, reported Assortment.The sequel reunites Gadot with "Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins and co-star Chris Pine, with Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig joining the franchise.

Gadot said she actually is pumped up about a brighter future in these "dark and scary circumstances". "Where we can share the power of cinema together once again.Excited to redate each of our 'WW84' film to August 14, 2020. I hope many people are safe. Sending my like to you all," she wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.Jenkins also prayed for better occasions ahead.

"We made Wonder Woman 1984 for the silver screen and I believe in the energy of cinema. In these horrible situations, when theater owners happen to be struggling as so most are, we are excited to re-day our film to August 14th 2020 in a theater in your area," the director tweeted.

"Whenever we green lit'Wonder Girl 1984',' it had been with every objective to be viewed on the silver screen and are fired up to announce that Warner Bros Images will be delivering the film to theatres on August 14."We trust the world will maintain a good safer and healthier place at that time," Toby Emmerich, Warner Bros. Pics Group chairman, added in a assertion.
