Hotel beaches in Dubai get started to reopen

Beaches at hotels in Dubai are starting to reopen after new regulations were announced by the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management on Wednesday.
Private hotel beaches is now able to reopen, but pools, spas, gyms and fitness facilities will stay closed. Kids clubs may also remain closed at the moment.
“Hotels are permitted to reopen their private beaches and then their guests while enforcing stringent preventive measures, the main which is mandatory physical distancing between individuals,” the committee said in a statement on Wam, the UAE’s news agency.
Sofitel Dubai the Palm has reopened its beach from Wednesday, May 13. Social distancing policies are in place based on the hotel’s Instagram.
Five Palm Jumeirah Hotel and Resort in addition has reopened its beach with access designed for all in-house guests.
Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach will reopen for guest bookings from Thursday, May 15. The resort's private beach will reopen on a single date.
Anantara Dubai The Palm in addition has reopened its beach and is following social distancing standards. Non-motorised water athletics are also ready to go.
Caesars Palace Bluewaters Island said it was along the way of reopening, but during writing had no confirmed date for when beach access would be allowed.
Strict social distancing rules mean there must be a four-metre distance between two groups of men and women on beaches or sun loungers.
All hotel beaches will available to in-house guests only, no day-passes can be bought for access by non-guests.

Public parks are also set to reopen with new rules that don't allow gatherings of more than five people.
