From textiles to books: 6 stand-alone stores which may have reopened in Dubai
Since Dubai authorities eased movement restrictions over the city, malls are set to reopen to the general public. But it's not only malls that are reopening, several stand-alone stores have also reopened their doors to shoppers.

While we don’t advocate going on a shopping spree at this time, if you do have to buy something and want in order to avoid the city’s malls, here are six stand-alone stores you can examine out instead.

A number of these stores have opened with upgrade safety measures and alternative hours, so it’s smart to call ahead before you visit.

The Collective by Ripe, Al Quoz
The Courtyard in Al Quoz’s boutique shopping destination will open for soft launch on Sunday, April 26. Head down between noon and 8pm but make sure you pay attention to the social distancing rules set up such as for example keeping a few steps between you and other visitors, wearing masks and gloves and not touching the products that you’re uncertain you’re likely to buy, regardless of how irresistible the new Ramadan collections are. www.thecollectivebyripe.com
