'I Don't Want To Return To Man Utd'
18 April, 2020
Manchester United now have several players from loan this season, but one player says he'll feel a tremendous sense of pain if he must go back to Old Trafford.
Marcos Rojo dropped down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer after returning from injury this year, which forced the defender to get game-time elsewhere.
The full-back then secured a loan proceed to Argentine side Estudiantes in the January transfer window, although he has only made one appearance because of his injury struggles..
Rojo is now back to full fitness and is pleading with the Red Devils to increase his loan deal, that was due to result in June.
"If it depends on me, I will talk with Manchester United’s management about the opportunity of staying here for another six months," Rojo told Argentine radio station Estudiantes Y Su Gente.
"I will feel a significant sense of pain easily need to leave after playing in so few games. I am completely recovered now, and fit to play once again."
Rojo only made nine appearances under Solskjaer in the 2019/2020 season before he was loaned out to the Argentine top flight.
