On March 5, Nimrat Kaur will be breaking her five-year-spell to be away from Hindi movies. The Lunchbox celebrity, who was previous seen on the big screen in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Airlift (2016), will be signing up for the cast of Dasvi, likewise starring Abhishek Bachchan and Yami Gautam, in Agra. In the five years when she was lacking from the silver screen, Nimrat done two intercontinental and one homegrown series.
Abhishek has already started shooting at the Agra Central Jail with Yami for the film, and Nimrat might join the team on Friday for the primary schedule. "At this time, I am sleepless with excitement, nervousness and anxiety. I am thrilled to come back on a Hindi-film set after five years. The film is a departure from what I have done up to now. It had been a no-brainer to state yes to something that I have hardly ever done before.
As an audience, I would wish to watch this story unfold on the big screen. It's an unbelievable space to explore at this point and I have never gone this far in my headspace and attempted something consequently unique. The roles during the past had their own challenges and Dasvi poses a complete new large amount of challenges, which merely made me want to do this role. Yes, people want to do it again you in an identical sort of space because they think it is effective with you.
That's stereotyping, which I feel is a good compliment in an unnecessary wrapper. It becomes tough to break that mould," says Nimrat, as she gets packing her carriers and making last-minute notes about her personality. It's her first outing with Abhishek, someone she's known socially. Question her if they have done any reading periods or prep work together upon this film, and she says, "No! We haven't also met over this project. He's been very busy. I think all of the planning on the work front may happen spontaneously on the place.
We've not exchanged notes, but I do know that he includes a cool good sense of humour. He features funny testimonies. I've loved a lot of his movies. I am looking forward to working with him and having an enjoyable experience upon this project. He's an intensive gentleman with a varied physique of do the job." Yami and Nimrat may also be sharing screen space alongside one another for the very first time.
Usually, with two leading women in a film, talk quite often revolves around who gets the bigger share of screen time. Bring this up and Nimrat laughs it off, saying, "We must grow out of this. Look what happened within the last one time. Let's you need to be happy and interact and make an excellent film instead. These exact things don't have an area in our lives anymore. If anything, I am getting excited about learning a couple of things from Yami and Abhishek, who have both acted in even more films than me."
