Korea Aerospace Industries inked a deal with Indonesia to supply three more training aircraft.
KAI said it will deliver three KT-1B aircraft to Indonesia under the deal signed in Jakarta on Thursday, which is worth about US$90 million. The trainers to be developed based on Korea's indigenous technologies are due to be delivered in the next couple of years.
KAI will also offer new equipment and improvements to T-50 trainers it sold earlier. With the latest deal, Indonesia's total purchase of Korean aircraft stands at 20 KT-1B trainers including 16 T-50 trainers.
