'Messi's Salary Is Unsustainable'

Among FC Barcelona’s hopeful presidential individuals has revealed what he'll show Lionel Messi regarding his current "unsustainable" salary.
Emili Rousaud is probably the men in the running to become president of Barcelona, with the elections reportedly collection to be held on 24 January.
With Messi yet to increase his contract at Barcelona despite there being just half a year left on his deal, there are lots rumours surrounding the 33-year-old’s future, particularly because of his attempts to keep the club before this year got underway.
Speaking about Messi’s circumstance in Spain, Rousaud admits that the Blaugrana wouldn't normally manage to continue paying the six-period Ballon d’Or champion what he presently earns, and says he'll tell the forward that up front.
"He did not want to leave the club for monetary reasons. It was right down to the lack of a sports project," he told Sport.
"I will start looking him in the eye and say: 'Your earnings is unsustainable, the golf club cannot give you. But we are going to launch a job to surround you with fresh talent.'"
