The Philippines on Sunday (Sep 13) deported a USA Marine convicted of killing a transgender woman in the Southeast Asian country in 2014, after he was granted a complete pardon by President Rodrigo Duterte.

Lance Corporal Joseph Scott Pemberton still left Manila's airport terminal at 9.14am native period aboard an American army aircraft bound for america, according to Bureau of Immigration (BI) spokeswoman Dana Sandoval.
