Pitso Clinches Second CAF Super Glass Title
Pitso Mosimane found his second CAF Super Cup title after his Al Ahly side defeated RS Berkene 2-0 on Friday evening.

After advancing to the CAF Champions League semi-finals last weekend, the Red Devils had to carefully turn their attentions to the defending Confederation Cup winners.

While there have been a couple chances in the early levels, both goalkeepers were yet to be tested in the starting 20 a few minutes of the contest.

Berkene practically grabbed the opening objective on 26 minutes just after Mohamed Farhan was first sent one-on-1 with Ahly shot-stopper Mohammed El-Shennawy, however the striker could sole send his effort into the side-netting.

The Crimson Devils, meanwhile, struggled to mount any serious attacks at the Berkene goal in the opening 45 a few minutes, with the sides going to the break goalless.

Even so, Mosimane's men broke the deadlock in the 57th minute, with Mohamed Sherif locating the back of the net with a excellent left-footed strike that sailed in to the top corner.

With Berkene looking to bag an equaliser, Al Ahly wrapped up the contest with eight moments kept on the clock, with Salah Mohsen obtaining the second goal after rounding the goalkeeper.

Mosimane has won his third title with the Red Devils after already clinching the Champions League and Egypt Cup.
