Ramos Nets First Goal On Messi's Return For PSG
Sergio Ramos bagged his first goal for Paris Saint-Germain, who registered a 4-0 win over Reims in Ligue 1 action on Sunday night.

Result: Paris Saint-Germain 4-0 Reims

Venue: Parc de Princes

Lionel Messi was back in the matchday squad but was only named on the bench, as Angel di Maria, Mauro Icardi and Kylian Mbappe continued in the attack.

Mauricio Pochettino's charges dominated from the onset, but they were let down by their finishing as Di Maria blazed over on 15 minutes before Danilo Periera headed over the crossbar a few minutes later.

Reims managed to carve out a rear opening just before the half-hour mark as Bradley Locko worked his way towards the box before seeing his stinging effort turned away by Keylor Navas.

After spells of domination, PSG got their reward a minute before the halftime break as Marco Verratti fired home from close range after Icardi's initial strike had been blocked. PSG carried that domination into the second half but had to wait until the hour mark for the second goal as Sergio Ramos bagged his first goal for the club with a close-range strike after a goal-mouth scramble.

To make matters worse for Reims, Pochettino opted to introduce Messi three minutes later in place of Di Maria as the hosts pushed for more goal.

The third goal for the hosts arrived in the 67th minute when Reims defender Wout Faes deflected Verratti's shot into his own net while trying to clear.

Danilo Pereira got in on the scoring act with 15 minutes to go as the midfielder found the back of the net with a deflected effort after some good work by Kylian Mbappe in the build-up.
